Using Your Gifts | In Our Church
God loves everyone and we do our best to love everyone too. So when you come to Melbourne Heights we want you to know that you belong here.
Our Host Team works hard to do that by greeting at our doors, working at our Welcome Center, helping in our sanctuary space, and more.
The Host Team is perfect for people with the gifts of Hospitality, Mercy, and Service.
Some people say that our students are the future of the church but, at Melbourne Heights, we believe that our students are a vital part of our church right now.
So we work to create an environment where every child and teenager can grow in their relationship with God at their own pace. Although we are not currently offering in-person activities for our Students (because of the pandemic), we hope to resume activities soon.
Student Ministry is perfect for people with the gifts of Shepherding, Teaching, Evangelism, Hospitality, Mercy, and Service.
Music is not only an important part of worship, but music also helps shape the way we think about God.
So we work hard to make sure that our music is encouraging, uplifting, and helps you enter into the presence of God.
Our Music Ministry is perfect for anyone with musical ability that you would like to use to praise God and lead others.
Set-Up & Tear Down
As a portable church, we have to set up our church every Sunday morning and tear it back down every Sunday afternoon. From putting out signs and banners, to setting up sound equipment, our Set Up and Tear Down Teams are hands-on in the work of our church.
The work of our Set Up and Tear Down Teams are essential for our church to be who God wants us to be and do what God wants us to do.
Our Set-Up and Tear Down Teams are perfect for people with the gifts of Service and Administration.
...and Many More
These ministries are just the tip of the iceberg for all the ways that you could serve at Melbourne Heights or in the community around us.
If you're ready to take the next step in your relationship with God, we'd love to meet with you and help you find a ministry where your passions meet the needs of our church and the world around us.
